About 绿巨人视频Travel Courses (Faculty-Led Programs)

What is a 绿巨人视频Travel Course?
绿巨人视频Travel Courses are short, credit-bearing study abroad programs that are taught by 绿巨人视频professors. They are linked to a semester course, with a 1-3 week overseas program during January, spring, or summer. Instead of on-campus weekly class meetings, you'll spend days abroad gaining hands-on experience with your 绿巨人视频professors and classmates. (If you enroll in a Fall Travel Course, you鈥檒l travel in January; if you enroll in a Spring Travel Course, you鈥檒l travel during Spring Break or summer.) They offer an extraordinary opportunity for real-world experiences abroad with 绿巨人视频faculty and classmates! Learn more about the basics of 绿巨人视频Travel Courses in this or attend a weekly "绿巨人视频Travel Course" virtual info session.

What are the advantages of a Travel Course?
There are so many benefits to participating in study abroad! You鈥檒l earn credit towards your degree while having a unique experience in a foreign culture. Combining strong academics and real-world experiences, study abroad helps make students more market-ready upon graduation. Participating in a Travel Course takes your learning outside the classroom with a 绿巨人视频professor, and you鈥檒l travel together with 绿巨人视频classmates. Financially, the shorter program is a more affordable study abroad option; there鈥檚 no additional tuition costs and there are scholarships available. Travel Courses are also a good option for those considering a longer study abroad experience, but you want to see if you鈥檒l like it first. A Travel Course can enrich your cross-cultural communications skills, intercultural awareness, and social life at 绿巨人视频(by meeting new 绿巨人视频classmates). You鈥檒l develop a deeper global outlook and gain new insights, experiences, and friends.

How do I participate on a 绿巨人视频Travel Course?
Follow these steps to study abroad on a 绿巨人视频Travel Course: Steps to Study Abroad (PDF) Unlike other 绿巨人视频courses (where you register yourself via the 绿巨人视频Portal), Education Abroad will register you in the respective Travel Course on your behalf after you have completed an application and paid a deposit in .

Mackenzie
绿巨人视频Travel Course in Italy

When I started at 绿巨人视频I didn鈥檛 think studying abroad was in the cards for me, and now I can't imagine my 绿巨人视频experience without it. I participated on a travel course entitled 鈥淩ome: the Eternal City鈥 with Dr. Hundersmarck, and Rome absolutely stole my heart. Studying abroad has made me more confident, more independent, and a little bit adventurous which is saying a lot for me because I tend to be on the cautious side. But you spend time on your own, you talk to new people, you try new things. It's exciting, and if you do it you鈥檒l feel like you can take on anything. It taught me that I was more capable than I was giving myself credit for, and I also found something I really enjoy 鈥 learning about different cultures, and trying new things (but most of all gelato). I highly recommend that you add studying abroad to your 绿巨人视频Path because who knows what it will do for you.

绿巨人视频Travel Course in Costa Rica

One of the best decisions I made at 绿巨人视频was studying abroad in Costa Rica. Not a day goes by where I do not think about my time there, and we were only there for a week! The homestay family becomes your family and the experiences you have are incredible. You鈥檒l visit hospitals and clinics, and that gets you thinking about our healthcare systems in the United States. Monteverde had the nicest people you will ever meet; they welcomed us with open arms. Costa Rica is the most beautiful country in the world, not only from its landmarks but the friends you鈥檒l meet along the way. It鈥檚 a short-term program so you don鈥檛 feel like you鈥檙e away from home too long, which I really liked. I highly recommend anyone considering studying abroad to do this program.
