How To Apply For Financial Aid
You may be eligible for several types of financial aid that will help pay for college. You should submit a even if you are receiving VA educational benefits. Some GI Bill® benefits are not impacted by the FAFSA.

Accepting Your Financial Aid
Once you are accepted to the University, review the Financial Aid Booklets for information on accepting your financial aid package, how to apply for Federal Direct Parent Loans and view tutorials that will help you complete the required steps to receive your aid.
Reporting Income And Veterans Benefits
Read and follow the FAFSA instructions for each question. The way in which you report income and benefits on your FAFSA may differ from what you report to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
Some guidelines
- Veterans non-education benefits such as Disability, Death Pension, or Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC), and/or VA Educational Work Study allowances should be reported as untaxed income on your FAFSA
- Report your food allowance (BAS)
- Do not report your military housing allowance (BAQ or BAH) or the value of your on-base military housing
Institutional Scholarships And Grants
Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ will offer merit awards to veterans and dependents of veterans that have demonstrated academic excellence at prior institutions or secondary schools. Institutional Scholarships And Grants are tuition specific and are duplicative to Post-9/11 GI BILL® benefits. All scholarships and grants that are tuition specific must be deducted from the tuition and fees reported to the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs.
Financial Aid Policies And Procedures
Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ has well-trained and dedicated Financial Aid counselors. The Office of Financial Aid evaluates, approves and awards financial aid to students in accordance with federal, state, and University regulations, policies and guidelines. Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ policies and procedures ensures all students are fully compliant and within all regulations when it comes to Financial Aid.
