Are the Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵcampuses safe?
Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ has a highly professional security staff on duty and visible 24 hours a day/7 days a week on both our New York City and Westchester campuses. All students, faculty, staff, and alumni must show identification to enter the premises, and all visitors must register at the security stations before entering. The New York City campus is also located next to City Hall and 1 Police Plaza. However, Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ is located in a major metropolitan area, so community members are expected to follow safety guidelines and use discretion and common sense.

May I take classes at the New York City and the Pleasantville campus?
Yes, a student may take classes on each of the campuses if he or she chooses to do so, but it is never necessary. There is a free shuttle that operates between the New York City and Pleasantville campus. Scheduling should be considered carefully because of the 30 mile distance between the two campuses. We do not recommend taking classes on each campus on the same day, but many students will choose a day during the week to travel to the other campus.

If I apply to one campus, may I attend the other instead?
Yes. Once admitted to the university, you are admitted to all campuses. However, students should verify that their selected major is offered on the other campus. Most majors are offered on both campuses, but there are certain majors that are offered on only one of the campuses.

Yes. Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ is chartered by the Regents of the State of New York and is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. Each of the schools and colleges are accredited by the appropriate accrediting association.

Does Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵhave a Pre-Med major?
Students often confuse a Pre-Med major with a Pre-Med track, which is the standard course of study. Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵoffers a Pre-Med track preparing students for admission to medical school or to our highly competitive Physician Assistant program.

Does Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵhave a Pre-Law major?
Students often confuse a Pre-Law major with a Pre-Law track, which is the standard course of study. Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵoffers a preparing students for law school admission. We also have a joint degree program with where students can complete a Bachelor’s and Law degree in 6 years – one year less than if you completed each separately.

How long will it take to graduate?
Except for very few programs such as combined degree majors, students can graduate within four years as long as the student remains registered full time, in good academic standing and works with his or her adviser.

The Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵPath is an innovative program exclusive to Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵthat combines academic, professional, and personal preparation designed to make each student market-ready to start a career upon graduation. It starts freshman year when all students will develop a written academic and professional development plan with their advisor. This plan is flexible and can evolve as the student continues through his or her years at Pace. There are opportunities for one-on-one mentoring and coaching by faculty and Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵalumni. Also Pace’s robust Career Services center is focused on placing you in internships and that first professional position.

Is the student body diverse?
The New York metropolitan area’s own neighborhood contributes over 50 percent of our student body. Last year, students came from 48 U.S. states, 5 U.S. territories, and 129 countries.

Does Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ offer scholarships?
Yes, Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵoffers all students an extensive financial aid program. Our financial aid packages include a combination of scholarships, grants, and work-study funds. School-based scholarships are also available.

How does Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵmeet the needs of disabled students?
Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ takes seriously its obligations under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. A student with a disability who believes that he or she will need an auxiliary aid or other accommodations must notify the Counseling Center prior to the beginning of classes.
