Program Expectations

What to expect your first year

The Setters Leadership and Service House focuses on the concept of servant leadership, importance of service, and learning about leadership in various professions from faculty and community members.

Fall Semester

  • Attend the Setters Leadership Initiatives Core Retreat before the Fall semester begins
  • Live together in the Setters Leadership and Service House First-Year Interest Group (FIG)
  • Participate in weekly service projects to serve the campus and local community
  • Attend leadership workshops and SLH social programs in the residence hall
  • Participate in Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵMake a Difference Day together

Spring Semester

  • Continue weekly service projects to serve the campus and local community
  • Attend social programs in the residence hall
  • Enroll in University 102 Course, a one-credit class on leadership and social justice
