Understanding your Cost of Attendance

Cost of Attendance (COA) is the estimated total expenses a student should anticipate having while attending college for an academic year. All schools are required to have a Cost of Attendance that includes both billable charges that you will see on your billing statement from the school (i.e. tuition, fees, housing (resident students only), meal plan), and non-billable estimated expenses that are not paid to the school (i.e. transportation, living expenses, off-campus rent (commuter students only)).

  • Estimated non-billable expenses are included in a school's Cost of Attendance to allow students to borrow and receive financial aid to assist with those educational expenses if needed.

Your Cost of Attendance (COA) at Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ is determined by, and may change, based on several factors:

  • Housing Status - Living in on-campus housing (resident student), off-campus housing (commuter student), or at home with parents or relatives (commuter student).
  • Enrollment Level:
    • Undergraduate Students - 12+ credits per semester (full-time), 11 or less credits per semester (part-time).
    • Graduate Students - 9+ credits per semester (full-time), 8 or less credits per semester (part-time).
  • Field of Study - Sands College of Performing Arts, College of Health Professions, Lubin School of Business, etc.
    • Each school/program may have different associated fees.

Any changes in your Cost of Attendance may impact your financial aid offers.
