Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ

The Office of Sexual and Interpersonal Wellness provides support and resources for current Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ students who are or have been impacted by sexual assault and develops on-campus violence prevention initiatives, trainings, and events.

The New York City office is directed by specialist, Ashleigh Andersen, who is a social worker with varied experience working on issues of sexual violence, dating violence, and mental health. She is a confidential resource for students.

Ashleigh Andersen, LCSW is the Interpersonal Violence Prevention and Education Specialist at Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ. Prior to this role, she worked as the Relationship Abuse Prevention Program Coordinator at Day One, the Intervention Coordinator at the NYC Alliance Against Sexual Assault and as a Case Manager at a domestic violence shelter. She received her Master of Social Work from Hunter College, Silberman School of Social Work in 2017 and a B.A. in Political Science at Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ in 2013. She has used her knowledge and experience of working with survivors of sexual harm and intimate partner violence to develop a strength-based, anti-oppression, and intersectional approach that continues to inform her prevention and intervention advocacy.
