Designed for individuals 55 years or older, Pace’s Active Retirement Community (PARC) brings the most affordable programs to Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ’s lower Manhattan campus. ±Ê´¡¸é°ä’s innovative programs and dynamic lectures allow you the opportunity to meet new people and share your ideas and knowledge. Enjoy the natural support network that grows as you explore and learn with others of your generation.

Intergenerational Technology Assistance Program
The Intergenerational Technology Assistance Program partners PARC members with Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵstudents for individualized tech training and assistance.
The goal of the program is to ensure that our members gain the technical skills to accomplish the things that are important to them, whether that’s strengthening career readiness skills or communicating virtually with friends and family.

November 2024 Lecture
Contrasting Approaches to Conservation Biology
Dr. Erika Crispo, Professor of Biology, will join us on November 12 to discuss the role of diversity in the conservation and reintroduction of wild populations of animals and plants. Dr. Crispo completed her MSc and PhD at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. The focus of her graduate work was on adaptation and dispersal of fish populations in Trinidad and Uganda. She joined Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ in 2012, where she has been conducting research on the conservation of populations, with an emphasis on fishes. She is interested in how different approaches to the reintroduction of depleted populations influence conservation outcomes, and she has created a game to play with students in her classes. On November 12, Dr. Crispo will share this game with the PARC community.

December 2024 Lecture
Saving Rafflesia Plant from Edge of Extinction
Dr. Jeanmaire Molina is a plant evolutionary biologist and a professor a Dyson College of Arts and Sciences. This summer, Dr. Molina returned from conducting fieldwork in Malaysia and the Philippines to collect and conserve members of Rafflesiaceae, which are unique plants that produce the largest flowers in the world but are endangered. .

Private Tour of the Civil Rights Documentary Photography Exhibition
An exhibition which pairs protest images from the 1950s, 60s and 70s from the Stephanopoulos Collection with images of from 2020–present to examine and celebrate the past and present of protest and solidarity in Civil Rights movements in the US.
