Lawrence A. Dany
Biography
Larry Dany is an adjunct professor of Construction Law at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ. He is a partner at the international law firm Jones Day, with over 20 years of experience representing construction and engineering companies on commercial, power, energy, and infrastructure projects, including power and petrochemical plants, solar farms, battery energy storage systems, mining, water and wastewater treatment plants, rail, high-rise commercial buildings, health care and senior living care facilities, hotels, oil and gas storage facilities and pipelines, and manufacturing plants. He is a member of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) Roster of Construction Arbitrators, and on the faculty of the Masters Institute in Construction Contracting.
Professor Dany has presented his scholarly work on construction law at conferences throughout the United States and Europe. Previously, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Maurice M. Paul of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida. He received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Florida.
