Emily Bent
Biography
Faculty Bio
Dr. Bent's research explores global girlhood discourses, feminist girlhoods, and girls' political participation and activist politics. Her current book project titled "Feminist Girls: The New Politics of Gender and Age at the United Nations" examines the lives of teenage girl activists at the United Nations from 2010-2015. She holds a doctorate in Global Women's Studies from the National University of Ireland, Galway, MA in Women's & Gender Studies from Rutgers University and BA from The College of New Jersey.
