Biography
Professor Angelica Cancel currently works at the Bronx Defenders as a staff attorney in the Civil Action Practice where she represents clients in housing, employment, and civil rights matters. Prior to her work at the Bronx Defenders, Angelica worked at a Manhattan law firm practicing general civil litigation.
Professor Cancel graduated magma cum laude from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law in 2017. While in law school, Angelica participated in the Immigration Justice Clinic, was the President of the Latin American Law Student Association, and served as the Advocacy Program's Executive Director. She continues to coach trial teams for the law school in her spare time.
