The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ is pleased to announce that Sam Kalen will deliver the annual Gilbert and Sarah Kerlin Lecture on Environmental Law. Professor Kalen is the William T. Schwartz Distinguished Professor of Law and Associate Dean at the University of Wyoming College of Law, as well as the founder and co-director of the School’s Center for Law and Energy Resources in the Rockies.

A record-number 30 Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ students have been accepted into the 2023 class of the , the University today announced.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ is pleased to announce that the 2023 Elisabeth Haub Award for Environmental Law and Diplomacy will be jointly awarded to Ambassador Marja Lehto of Finland and former Ambassador Marie Jacobsson of Sweden for their pivotal roles advancing environmental law and policy to protect the environment in times of armed conflicts.

Stephanie Akunvabey, a native New Yorker who has dedicated her career in higher education to championing issues relating to equity and inclusion, has been named Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ’s new associate vice president for diversity and inclusion and its chief diversity officer.

Each year, the Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵWomen’s Justice Center (PWJC) commemorates Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October with the culmination of its Raising the Bar Benefit Concert. This year’s concert will take place at the Capitol Theatre on Thursday, November 3, at 8:00 p.m. The full-length concert will be exclusively performed by the Grammy-winning duo, Indigo Girls.
