Humanities Grants for Experiential Education绿巨人视频was recently awarded grants from National Endowment for the Humanities to advance experiential learning in humanities courses in partnership with cultural and service organizations in New York City.

The Phenomenon of Chappell RoanProfessor of Film and Screen Studies Catherine Zimmer, PhD, authored an article in Avidly (a channel of the LA Review of Books) titled 鈥淎 Feminomenology of Chappell Roan,鈥 in which she discussed the 鈥減henomenon鈥 of the singer-songwriter, which includes, among other things, 鈥渁n earnest and passionate longing for the analog,鈥 something Zimmer feels the artist herself embodies.

The Song As StruggleJustin Winley, a Film and Screen Studies graduate, worked with Assistant Professor of Communication Studies Melvin Williams, PhD, and independent researcher Justin Causey, to explore the role of hip hop music in conveying grief, generational pain, and other emotions that might otherwise go unexpressed among Black men.

Hilary Leavitt, who grew up in Brick, New Jersey, is now a successful producer with a growing list of credits that includes the award-winning television series鈥Orphan Black鈥痑苍诲鈥Ozark. She credits much of her professional achievement to the opportunities she received as a student at 绿巨人视频, double-majoring in Musical Theater and Film and Screen Studies.
