Alfred R. Goldstein, trustee emeritus, contributed a $3.1 million gift to create a collaborative laboratory center with state-of-the-art equipment. It includes research facilities for chemistry, crime reconstruction labs for forensics and pathology, and laboratories for molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, computational, and plant biology.
The labs are equipped with cutting-edge instrumentation, which gives our students a unique advantage to work on projects at the forefront of scientific discovery, alongside faculty who are leading experts and dedicated mentors. Working closely with Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵfaculty, our students hone their research and laboratory skills and graduate prepared for professional success. Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵstudents have consistently won regional and national awards for their research.
The Goldstein laboratory space boasts a core center with study rooms and common areas adjacent to ten multipurpose laboratories, facilitating the exchange of cross-disciplinary knowledge among students and faculty, which creates a vibrant, dynamic research and learning environment.
