A portfolio review is required for admission into the BFA in Art program. The BFA in Art program is a 72-credit, professional degree program where students concentrate in an area (photography, painting, video, graphic design, etc.) of their choice.
All students wishing to enter the BFA Program in Art must first be accepted to Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ, and then submit a mandatory portfolio for review. A portfolio review is not required for the BA in Art.
The deadline for submitting a portfolio is March 1.
Guidelines for submission
Portfolios should contain ten (10) images of your best artwork in any medium: painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, design, digital arts, video, mixed media, etc. You may choose to submit work that demonstrates a variety of media and skills, or a single cohesive body of work in one media. A list of titles and media for each image should be included. An artist statement or statement of your artistic aspirations is optional.
- Images should be in JPEG format, 72 dpi, with a maximum size of 1200 px in either direction.
- Videos may be submitted in place of images if your work is in video, animation, new media, performance art and other time-based media.
Portfolios should be uploaded to your by March 1.
Students who do not have a portfolio at the time of application will be accepted into the 36-credit BA-Art program.
