Sachin Archer (BS in Computer Science ’25) is a Seidenberg student who traveled with the NYC Design Factory to Geneva, Switzerland during the Fall ’22 semester. While there, Sachin and his teammates met experts from CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, and collaborated with other teams from the Design Factory Global Network.

Alphur "Slim" Willock ‘19, ‘23 knows that dedication in the face of obstacles is what it takes to get ahead. After the death of his wife, he took on the responsibility of caring for his six children while working full-time. Slim was able to fit not one, but two, online degree programs into his life—a BS in Information Systems and now an MS in Information Technology.

Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ Seidenberg School of CSIS Professor Zhan Zhang, PhD, recently received a $499,966 grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to develop touchless smart glasses that will allow emergency care professionals to collect data, communicate with other specialists, and pull up medical protocol checklists with a gesture of the head or through voice controls. They’ll no longer need to take their hands—or their eyes—off the patient or risk transferring germs to and from a computer keyboard.
